Being Grateful

I know posting two days in a row, a big step for me! I just really feel so grateful today for all that I have and felt like I needed to share. My Grandpa was going in for surgery today to remove his kidney due to cancer but, plans were changed. I got a call from mom saying that the cancer has spread to his lung and possibly his thyroid. It is so crazy how life can be turned upside down all in one day. i hope and pray that everything will work out with this silly cancer. I guess I just needed to sit down and see how special life can be. I am very grateful for my little girl and baby boy on the way. I don't know what I would do without Tylee. I am blessed to have a great husband and wonderful parents who are always there for us. I am so lucky to have been able to live close to my sister, and best friend, for the past couple of years, it has been so great! Sometimes we need to see trials so that we can appreciate everday a little more. Thanks hevens I was able to mop the floor today. I hope that all of you realize your many blessings today and always try to be grateful for what and who you do have. I am grateful for a wonderful Grandpa that will pull through and do his best to get better for Grandma. I love you gramps!!!

UPDATE!!

Well, thanks to Emily I guess I need to update this silly blog. I have no idea where to find pictures so I think I will just update with lots of text!
#1- Jared Graduated!!!! I am so proud of him. He has worked hard going to school, working, and having a family. I was so emotional at the graduation for some reason. School has been our whole lives it seems like. He graduated in April and with graduation came a job offer. This was bitter sweet, of course we wanted a job but it just so happened to be in Utah. The last place we both wanted to live.
#2- the end of April came and we packed up and moved to Utah! Thanks to my awesome family. They helped us pack up and joined us on our journey to Utah and then helped us unpack and get settled. i really enjoyed having them here and had lots of good laughs while they were here. i love you guys!!! The day they left was very hard for me. I am used to seeing them quite often so saying goodbye was awful. My sister made the cutest little dolls for Tylee so she would always have Meg,Nia, and zacy pooh to play with. Thanks Nic!!
#3- Life in Utah has been interesting. Tylee and I have spent alot of quality time together which is great, especially with the baby coming!! We witnessed our first stabbing while playing at the park! We saw our first purse snatching while out shopping, and have seen quite a few middle fingers in passing on the roads. I may not be the most experienced Utah driver! We are trying to adjust to all of the changes of life here in Utah!
Jared is enjoying his new job, I think! It is different to have an office job and not be out doors all day. He is always up for a good challenge. I don't think he minds the catered lunches and snacks. He enjoed his over nighter at Pat and Anndalynn's a few weeks ago!
#4- We are still trying to get moved in, what a job!! I am not so good at decorating and that is why we still have nothing on the walls. It is very overwhelming!
We are trying to start thinking about getting ready for our baby boy to come. I finally got a doctor here. I couldn't get in until I am about 37 weeks along so hopefully everything is okay until then. I'm sure it is fine because I am nearly as big as the house we live in. I know we are growing just fine. I am just waiting for the decorating fairy to come one day while I am out and get his room ready. I don't even have bedding. So if anyone out there likes to decorate let me know. Oh and if anyone has any ideas of what we could name the little guy, we could use help there too. We hope that we bring him home with a name but it isn't looking too good.
Tylee just likes the name zacy pooh. anyway......if anyone has and decorating ideas, boy names, diaper bag suggestions, or miracles, let me know.
#5- We got to gome last weekend!!!! It was so nice to go home. Tylee hadn't seen my dad for a month and her reaction was priceless! She was screaming pampa and grabbed his face, patted it and just held it in her little hands. I could do anything but cry. She really loves her pampa. She had a great time with her cousins, especailly zacy pooh. She is obssessed with Zac!! I really enjoyed being at home with myfamily. I really needed the laughs and chocolate.. I had lots of fun with my mom and sister!! Thanks for the fun weekend mom and dad!!
So all in all that is our life as of now. Jared and I are enjoying our last few weeks with just Tylee as she goes through the terrible 2's. They really do exist! It is hard to imagine having more than her around. She is defenitly the love ofour life.
If anyone wants to make a trip to Utah call us. We are here. We are missing Idaho but trying to make the best of the change. We are always looking forward to trips back home! We love you all and hope that you are all doing great!! Next time I will post some pictures for you.
